SPICY CHICKEN IN SOY SAUCE



½ kg chicken cut into pieces
( marinate with 1 tsp of ginger &
garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder)
1 tbsp mixed spices (cinnamon,
 star anise, cloves & cardamom)
1 large onion sliced
1 red chilly sliced
1 green chilly sliced
2 cm piece ginger sliced
3 cloves garlic sliced
1 stalk lemon grass
2 – 3 tbsp chili paste
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 ½ tbsp light soy sauce
3 – 5 tbsp water
Pinch of ajinomoto
Spring onions cut into 2" lengths
Oil for cooking

METHOD:

Deep fry chickens pieces & keep aside.
Heat up oil fry mixed spices add lemon grass,
onion, ginger, garlic, both red & green chilly,  
fry until soft, add chili paste fry until raw smell
goes off add both soy sauce stir, add water let it
boil for 1 -2 minutes add chicken & cook for few
 minutes, add ajinomoto, spring onion & dish it out
Serve hot with rice
