Prawn Fritters - 2
500 gm prawns
350 gm plain flour
3 tbsp corn flour
2 egg whites ( beaten until stiff )
1 cup water
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Clean the prawns, leaving shell intact. Wash and drain well.
Sift flour into a bowl and mix with corn flour.
Make a hole in the center and gradually pour in water to make a thicker batter.
Add salt and fold in egg whites gently.
Heat oil. Dip prawns into batter and fry the prawns until golden.
Serve with lettuce, tomatoes and chilly sauce.
