Apple Breakfast Bread

INGREDIENTS:

  1/2 cup butter
  1 cup sugar
  2 eggs
  2 cups all-purpose flour
  1 teaspoon baking soda
  1/2 teaspoon salt
  1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 apples – peeled, cored and chopped

METHOD:

Set the oven to 350 degrees F preheat settings. Grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan lightly. Combine butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth and creamy. Whisk in the eggs. Use another bowl for sifting flour with baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Combine this with the butter mixture just enough to moisten the dry ingredients. Fold the apples in and fill it into the loaf pan.Place the pan into the oven and bake for an hour. Once done, take pan out of the oven and cool for 15 minutes. Take the bread off the pan and over a wire rack for complete cooling.
