SPICED TEA ( MASALA CHAI )




2 cups water
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick, crushed
3 cardamom pods, crushed
1 piece of ginger crushed
Sugar to taste
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons tea leaves

METHOD:


Put the water on the stove & add spices, ginger
bring to boil, cover & let simmer for few minutes.

Add sugar & milk, stir.
 
Bring back to boil, add tea leaves, cover pot,
remove from heat & steep for 5-10 minutes.

Pour through filter to remove spices & tea leaves.

Pour into tea pot & serve hot.
