FLAT BEANS WITH GRATED COCONUT



Avarakaai Thooran

Indian flat beans

A:
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 dried chilly broken
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 stalk curry leaves

B:
2 shallots chopped
2 pips garlic chopped
4 birds eye chilly chopped

300 gm flat beans sliced thinly
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking

3-4 tbsp grated coconut

METHOD:

Heat up oil & fry A then B until
light brown, add in beans, salt,
turmeric powder, little water mix
well & cover to cook.

Once cooked , water is dry add in
coconut & mix well,

Serve as a side dish with rice.
