Mattar Paneer masala Recipe




Milk - 5 cups
Shelled Green Peas - 1/2 lb
Onions - 2 nos
Tomatoes - 3 nos
Green pepper - 3 nos
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
(alter to one`s taste)
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Coconut Extract - 1 cup
Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
Garlic(chopped) - 1 tsp
Cloves(Grambu) - 2 nos
Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 no
Cardamom(Elakka) - 2 no
Soya sauce - 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying
Salt - As reqd
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

Preparation Method of Mattar Paneer masala Recipe

1)Heat milk twice and add lemon juice to get the curd separated.

2)Tie the curd in a muslin cloth to get rid of the moisture.

3)Flatten it and cut into paneer cubes.

4)Deep fry in oil till it becomes golden brown and keep it aside.

5)Grind ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom to a paste.

6)Take a pan and heat 1 tbsp of oil.

7)Add the chopped onions, ground masala, green pepper, tomatoes, chilly powder,coriander powder and fry well.

8)Add peas, salt, soya sauce, coconut extract and cook till the peas are tender and gravy starts to thicken.

9)Slip in the fried paneer and boil for 5 minutes.

10)Garnish with coriander leaves.

:-Serve hot with rotis.
