Baking time: 20 - 25 minutes

You will need
1 cup ( 200 g ) maida (plain flour / all purpose flour)
75 g butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 green chilly very finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped mint & coriander leaves
1 spring dark green curry leaves, finely chopped

Beat butter till creamy.

Preheat oven (OTG) at 180 * C or 350 * F (moderate).

Grease baking tray with 1 teaspoon butter.

Mix all the ingredients with butter for 5 minutes and knead into a soft dough. Do not add water while making the dough.

Make 16 small balls, flatten them slightly and arrange on a greased baking tray (or roll the dough into a thick & big chapati and cut with a biscuit cutter or cut into desired shape).

Leave 1/2 - inch space between each biscuit and bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until they turn light golden color in color.

Keep aside to cool and store in an airtight container. Serve as a snack. Good combination with Tea / Coffee.
