TAPIOCA BIRYANI


Tapioca - 1kg
Mutton - 1 kg
(medium size pieces)
Coconut - 1 (grated)
Onion - 1 chopped
Green chilies - 3 chopped
Ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 3 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 2 tsp
Fennel seed powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Curry leaves 
Shallots  - 3 sliced

Method: 

Clean tapioca and cut into small
pieces, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder &
cook well, keep it aside.

Marinate meat with 2 tsp chilly powder,
1 tsp coriander powder, turmeric powder,
1 tsp garam masala, ginger & garlic paste 
for 30 minutes. Add salt & cook well.

Add cooked meat  into tapioca, add onions, 
green chillies & rest of the spices & mix well,
finally with grated coconut mix well,cover & 
put it on low flame for 3 - 8 minutes (Dum).

Heat the oil and fry mustard, curry leaves
& shallots, garnish your tapioca biriyani.

Serve hot with lime pickle.
