ROASTED DUCK






2-2 ½ kg  whole duck
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1  tsp sugar
1-2  tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp powdered ginger
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tbsp Chinese five-spice powder

Method:

Clean & dry the duck.

Combine remaining ingredients &
brush inside & out over the duck let
stand for 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Roast for 2 hours, turning & basting
with drippings occasionally.
